Leo Garfield (John Hannah) is a con man and is hoping to raise enough money so him and his wife Lily (Famke Janssen) can leave the country. He does this by agreeing to murder Gloria (Amanda Donohoe) who is the wife of a mobster called Julius (Peter Stormare) but finds out after that she was just a prostitute hired by Julius.
This is just the beginning of Leo’s problems. A unstable bookie called Troy (Eddie Izzard) is looking for money from Leo and a simple minded guy called Moose (Tom ‘Tiny’ Lister, Jr) shows up asking Leo to find his girlfriend. Fortunatly, Leo knows exactly where his girlfriend is but unforunatly, he can’t tell Moose!
They’re all playing different games by different rules, or maybe it’s the same game, same rules, just with a different set of loaded dice.

Shadow of the Vampire
Shadow of the Vampire is a film about the making of a German all time classic silent horror-movie from 1922 called Nosferatu. The production of Nosferatu had to deal with a lot of strange things (some crew members disappeared, some died). This movie focuses on the difficult relationship between Murnau, the director, and Schreck, the lead actor.
Mystery Men
Based on the comic book “Dark Horse”, this film is about seven called upon to use their powers. Super - hero protector, Captain Amazing has been kidnapped so Mr Furious, The Blue Raja and the Shoveler join forces with wannbe super heros- The Spleen, The Bowler, Invisible Boy and The Sphinx. Together they vow to kill the villain, Casanova Frankenstein and save the day!
The Avengers
Released in 1999, Eddie stars with one of the few people he can do an impression of, Sean Connery!
Plot:
John Steed (Ralph Fiennes), a British secret agent, teams up with scientist Emma Peel (Uma Thurman) to investigate dramatic changes in the earth’s climate. Following orders from “Mother”, the trail leads to ex-agent August de Wynter (Sean Connery) who is up to no good. They have to work fast to save the world and themselves!
Velvet Goldmine
From back cover:
1971. Glam Rock explodes on to the world music scene in a blaze of glitter and guitars. At its center the flamboyant Brian Slade (Jonathan Rhys Meyers). Together with outrageous American rocker Curt Wild (Ewan McGregor) they challenge conformity and take on the world!
1974. Suddenly at the height of his career, Slade decides to fake his own death on stage. The stunt backfires and he is never seen again.
1984. It's the 10th Anniversary of Slade's disappearance and journalist Arthur Stuart (Christian Bale) is sent out to expose the truth behind the myth. Controversial and explicit, Velvet Goldmine takes you on a journey in rock 'n' roll excess. Back to the stardust 70s. Back to the sight and sounds of the Glam era. Back to a time where anything goes!
The Secret Agent
Eddie does not appear in this film as strongly as in his more recent film, but being made in 1998 this was one of his first film appearances. Based on the novel by Joseph Conrad, also features Bob Hoskins, Jim Broadbent, Patricia Aquette, Christian Bale and Robin Williams.
